33......

That's how many layouts I took photos of today to post. 33! Mostly from December and January. I like that a lot of those are of Brendan (I feel like I tend to scrap Livi more simply because 1-she lets me take her picture way more often and 2-masculine layouts are a challenge for me). But I'm getting them done!

I also am currently working on a layout that I am doing as a surprise for Joe. I hardly ever scrap "us". He surprised me yesterday for Valentine's Day (we're not big celebrators of V-day. I prefer the little things that he does for me all through the year that shows me he gets me and loves me). But nonetheless, it was nice to be surprised with flowers, my favourite chocolates and the BEST card ever. Very traditional - but traditional was nice for a change. :) So now I'd like to do this layout for him to let him know how much he means to me.

We're taking turns being sick here. I'm battling a nasty sinus infection that is just not going away. It won't stop me from going to Montreal this weekend with my best friend though! Time to see Bon Jovi in concert again! We had such a good time this time last year seeing him in Montreal....I'm looking forward to a girl's weekend.

I've got some fun, surprising (surprising to me at least - it came out of the blue!) news that I'm hoping to share soon. Kinda fun!

Some 2011 Goals...

Figured it was best to get them down here on the blog so I can reflect next year and see how I've done.

I'm not a resolution maker - I prefer to call it goals. And here are a few for 2011:

1. Stress less...enjoy life more .
2. Scrapbook lots. It's how me, Joe and the kids will remember their childhoods. I created 105 layouts last year which is a lot for me. Her's hoping I can beat that in 2011.
3. More one on one time with each member of my family - Joe, Brendan and Olivia.
4. More family time that doesn't involve running to a lesson or a practice.
5. Become a happier me - one who is happy with my appearance, feels healthier and fulfilled not only at home but at work.
6. Use up scrapbook stash I have. Limit myself as much as possible to using what I have and purchasing only my Studio Calico kits each month. I'm sure I'll fail at this once in a while (come on people! CHA is in a few weeks!) but for the most part, I really want to stick to this.

Not too hard right? Game on. :)

Top 10 of 2010....

I thought I'd get in on the annual posting of my favourite layouts for this year. I love them all for different reasons and I do see some trends. Teal and yellow were definately big for me this year. Thanks for taking a peek and Happy New Year to all!

Merry Christmas.....

I'm not sure I'll make it here again before Christmas, so I wanted to take a minute to wish all of you a wonderful and blessed holiday season. Pause everything, even if for just a moment, to embrace all the love and happiness you have in your life and how very blessed you are to spend this day with the ones you love. Material gifts are always nice to give - but the priceless gift is health and happiness.
