When....
...did my boy get so big? Huge reality check for me tonight as I snapped his picture outside after dinner. I just love him soooo much - he's such a great little (big!) boy.....

Queen of My Heart...
With a face like that, how could she not be? ;)
Not much new going on here. I went to Melanie's house last night for some scrapping and actually got a good start on THREE layouts! Totally unheard of for me - it was a very productive night.
Looking forward to the weekend. Most of the girls that I scrap with on Tuesday night are going to Montreal for a little scrapping retail therapy! Can't wait.
Bring on Friday!

A Couple of Layouts...
Thought I'd share a couple of recent layouts:
This one was featured on Valerie Salmon's Sketch Blog . I created a layout for her using this week's sketch:
And here's a fave of mine. Olivia always refers to herself as the 'smallest' (aka the youngest) in our family:
And another recent one of Olivia featuring the new Creative Cafe goodness from Creative Imaginations:
Boy layouts are in my near future!! It's always so much harder to scrap stuff about Bman than Olivia! It's like buying clothes for them - 1110000 options for Olivia and 11 for Brendan! :)

Hello Spring!
Well, the Senators are out of the playoffs. But more importantly, the snow has pretty much all melted away! YAY! We spent the weekend being outdoors, in shorts and flip flops...enjoying the beautiful sunshine. LOVE it!
Here are some of my fave shots from this weekend-
In bigger news, Joe and I picked up our brand new vehicle last Wednesday. It's been so long since we've had that new car smell! We bought the Kia Rondo-lovin' it so far! Olivia was quite sad to see the van go and actually cried. She kissed it goodbye however, gave it a pat and had me take some pictures of her with the van so I think she's going to be okay.... ;)
Out with the old:
In with the new!
Take care! Back with some layouts soon.....(hopefully!)

Go Sens Go!!
The NHL playoffs start tomorrow and in honour of my boy who is more pasionate about hockey at 6 years old than most adults I know, here's a layout showing his obsession with the sport!

"Extra" good times!
I had a fun day with my boy today. He was just extra inquisitive, extra amusing, extra fun. He had sooooo many questions today. Yes...sometimes it's a little much but I think it's so cool that he's that interested in literally everything!
Anyway, I have a funny story to share about Brendan and email but I'll save that for another post.
Here's a layout I finished this evening about my boy (don't u love those freckles??):

Scrap Shotz Gives Back!
Scrap Shotz is hosting an online crop this coming weekend: April 4-6th. In honour of April being Cancer Awareness month, Scrap Shotz is giving back and doing their part to help. Here is an introduction by Kathy Thompson (Creative Planner @ SSZ):
"In honour of so many of you coming together and spending your time with us during our online crops, we would like to celebrate that by giving back!! April is Cancer month, and with cancer affecting so many people, we have chosen the Canadian Cancer Society as our designated charity this month. How can you help? It's really simple. At crop kick off on Friday, April 4, we will post a specific "Scrap Shotz Gives Back" Challenge! All you have to do to make a difference is complete the challenge! For every member who completes the challenge, SSZ will donate $5 to the Canadian Cancer Society! In addition, anyone who completes the challenge will get our special "I made a difference! SSZ Gives Back" blinkie which will be made available during the crop! We are really excited about recognizing our online community in such a positive way and we want to thank you in advance for coming together and helping out! Please help us give back!"
Even if you aren't a regular member at SSZ, I hope you'll stop by and do this challenge. You get to help a worthy cause just by doing what you already love to do (scrapping!). I hope to see you there.
