I love her.....

...and that's why I did this layout of us:

Not much to talk about tonight....weekends are too short and it's back to work tomorrow. A positive out of that is my friend is back from her Florida vacation and I can't wait to see how her pregnant belly looks after not seeing her for a week....(yay!)...

That's all I got......

Some new layouts....

Blogger is not being my friend today. I keep losing posts I write. So I'll let my layout do the talking tonight and I'm off to watch some good Thursday night tv! :)

Long Weekend, a crop & some layouts...

I am SO glad that this is a long weekend. Ontario has Family Day on Monday. Yay...NO work!! We're also going to head to the Canal for a skate if the weather allows us to. Can't wait. :)
There's a weekend crop going on at Scrapbook Star! All of our challenges are focused around the very popular Oscars! Lots of fun.
Here are 2 new layouts:

This second layout is a lift of a fabulous layout by the very talented Molly Peckham. Love her blog and her work!

In honour of V-day, here's a few pictures of my littlest Valentines:

That's it for me! I'm looking forward to scrapping a LOT in the next 3 days, if I can. Have a Happy Valentine's Day everyone and kiss all those you love! :)

What is a post without a title?

It's still a post. :)

I've got some good news and some bad news.

The good news first......

Allison Cope has rocked out some more amazing sketches over at So Sketchy! Here is one I recently did for a February sketch:

Supplies: My Little Yellow Bicycle everything; MM tiny alpha stickers/felt pin/heart brads; Pink Paislee alpha stickers; AC slick writer; Pebeo dimensional paint; Colorbox ink.

The bad news.....

This incredibly sweet boy has to have surgery. We found out last Friday after a referral to a Plastic Surgeon at CHEO. He was diagnosed with "trigger thumb" on both hands. Basically, he can't do a 'thumbs up' like you or I can. His thumbs are bent. It causes him no pain and doesn't hinder him from school or sports. However, if it isn't corrected, it will simply get worse and cause the need for major surgery. So the good news in all of this is at this stage, it's day surgery. Recovery should be quick and in almost all cases, the surgery will correct his thumbs and he'll never need it again. The doctor says 10 minutes per thumb. Good news... and his doctor was awesome. Very reassuring and he really focused on Brendan and having a rapport with him. A good doc in my books. And from what I see often at work...sometimes it's hard to make me feel comfortable when it comes to doctors. This time - good vibes. GOOD VIBES. We'll find out over the next week when his surgery will be. Hopefully within a month or two.

Not much else new. Livi is good....family is good....work is busy.....but overall, it's all okay. :)

take care....until next time!

Some So Sketchy Scrappy Goodness!

A couple of Allison Cope's sketches that I've had the pleasure of working with have gone up in the last few days on the So Sketchy! blog. Believe me when I say I don't endorse something simply because I design for them. Allison's sketches ROCK. And they are so easy to make your own. Try one! I dare you. :)

Here are 2 of my layouts based on So Sketchy! sketches:
Supplies: Sassafrass Lass pp/alpha stickers;Ranger pearls; SU ink;Lil Davis silver star; MM/AL buttons; Jenni Bowlin ticket; AC slick writer

Supplies: Pink Paislee pp/diecuts; AC alpha stickers/rub/badge; Prima bling/flowers; SU ink; AC slick writer; Fancy Pants chipboard.

That's all I got for now. Thanks for stopping by. :)

A layout to share!

Scrapbook Star is having a fun countdown to Valentine's Day called "Sharing the Love!" Each day we'll have a new idea of what you can do to celebrate love day! Today was my turn. I created this layout about my baby girl called "Itty Bitty Love Notes". I wrote a bunch of little notes to her to let her know how much she means to me.

That's all I got for now....

Remember Me?

It's been a busy week and not much is happening especially in the scrappy world...at least in me...scrapping...a layout....

However, I'm excited to announce that Ally has asked me to stay on for another 6 months as a So Sketchy Senior Sista! Now how fun is that? I truly love all of Ally's sketches and if you haven't already (and if you haven't, why not??), head on over to her So Sketchy site for some serious inspiration. There's also a whole new team of some seriously talented sistas....it's going to be a fun 6 months. :)

I do have some layouts to share but I have to wait a few days to post them here on my blog. So I'll be back soon to do that.

Other than that, I'm off to enjoy what is left of the day and watch Superbowl! What else would be on in a football-crazed household (well, Joe is football crazed enough for all of us!)??

(Ally - I was just on your blog and I don't see anything posted to me! What am I missing?)

Happy Sunday!
