Vacation Pics

Thought I would share a few.... I took over 500 pictures so you can imagine how hard it was to whittle it down to a few! LOL
I took tons of scenery photos as well but I think that's enough for tonight. I've shared my fave scenic photo of the Old Clock on Citadel Hill in Halifax. The rest I've shared are of my fave subjects - Brendan and Olivia.

Thanks for taking a peek. :)

We're baccckkk!

After 10 days of blissful vacation, we are HOME. It's funny how one is excited to be on vacation from work and to get away with the family to relax and enjoy each other, but it also super excited to get home to unwind! LOL

I'll be back soon with some photos once I have a chance to go through the 500+ I took and do some editing.

In the meantime, here are a couple of layouts that I did for my DT assignments before I left:

The Countdown is ON!

Four more days until I am on sweet, glorious vacation for 2 weeks. You don't know how happy I am to be off of work for a little over 2 weeks. Seriously good times! I can't wait. :)

Not much new with me. Trying to finish up a bunch of stuff at work before I leave on vacation. Joe is doing the same and the kids are finishing up their last week with our daycare provider. It really is making me (and Livi!) sad. Darn school board. We are all trying our hardest to find a solution so that they can go back to her in September. Cross your crossables.. not only is it cheaper but they totally love it there and I know they are the most capable hands.

Brendan is still hardcore soccer guy (he scored another goal Friday...yeah!) and Olivia FINALLY scored her first goal last week. Thank goodness. The girl was so upset and resorting to just telling everyone she scored so that she could just say she'd scored. LOL!

I will try and stop by before I go on vacation. If not, I'll be sure to have some pictures to post once I can get to a computer..... :)

I'll leave you with a newlayout:

And some pictures of my soccer stars!

Have a great week everyone! w.

Reveal Day at Scrap Schemes

We had some fun colour inspiration to work with for our 2nd DT reveal at Scrap Schemes. Here is what I came up with:

Be sure to head on over and have a look at the inspiration piece! Shawna is offering up a Schemes prize to those who complete a layout by July 20th.

Nothing much new in our world. Work is LONNNGGG these days and I think it's because the vacation countdown is on. 8 more days....8 more days and then we can relax for a few weeks. Sounds very good to me.

Kids are great! Weather is super hot! No complaints here.

Happy Scrapping!

Camping & Canada Day

It's been a bit since my last post but we went camping last weekend for 4 days. And it truly took me almost a week to recover! If there's one thing I've learned from our camping trip is that I'm truly a city girl! lol

The good news is that despite all the rain, the kids had a blast and we enjoyed being together. We went into Kingston for a end-of-school/you-passed treat on Saturday at Chuck E Cheese. The kids were quite impressed and the food wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be! We got to see fireworks on the beach on Sunday too which was really beautiful.
We spent a low-key Canada Day after our camping trip at BIL's house. We spent lots of time in the swimming pool and enjoyed a nice BBQ.

Besides that, not tons new with us. I do have some good news to report but you'll have to wait a bit for that. ;) Vacation countdown is ON! 2 weeks from today and we'll be on our way....can't wait. :)

I'll leave you with some pictures from Canada Day and our camping trip.
And some new layouts:
